This month, I am discussing the latest ad unit launched by Facebook - called Mobile Ads for Apps. In the video below, I have shared my thoughts about the plans and future directions for this ad unit, which is in beta at present. As Facebook are getting more involved with the mobile market, the aim of this development is to drive traffic to apps and generate app downloads. At the moment you can target the ads by platform, country, age and gender, but no other demographics as yet - though this is likely to change. I also discuss the transparency of reporting - including impressions, clicks, costs and actions - with this ad unit.
