In my opinion, SpyFu is a great little tool for generating new keywords.

Your competitors have no doubt gone to great lengths to think of new keywords that they can use in their search advertising campaigns.  Imagine if you could see their keyword list?  SpyFu does exactly this. (more…)

Edge – The Latest Design Tool from Adobe

In the latest round of HTML5/CSS3 versus Flash, Adobe has released a preview of their new design tool Edge. It allows users to create animations using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript without knowing how to write the code.

It is currently available for a free 152 day trial, as they are requesting developers feedback, and it is a little buggy at times (I’ve crashed it three times this morning). It comes with basic drawing and text tools and has a timeline editor so you can animate shapes, positions, opacity, etc. (more…)

Time management is one of the most important parts of an account manager’s job, to make sure a client’s account is run efficiently and that projects are delivered on time. Everyone has their productivity vices but there are more and more tools out there that can help you keep organised.  No matter what platform you use, you’re bound to find lots of options to choose from. For the last few weeks I have been getting to grips with the beefed up paid version of a free tool I have dipped in and out of throughout my PPC career. This tool is SpyFu, and it can be a powerful and cost effective tool to have in your arsenal, if you know how best to use the data it provides.

Cortex for Chrome

My new favourite toy is Cortex.  Cortex is a new extension for Google Chrome and provides a ridiculously quick way to share something on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Instapaper.  Although there are other tools out there that allow you to share links, videos or images on various social networks, this is the most user friendly that I’ve found.
