Believe it or not, there are still people out there who think that blogging merely consists of pouring one’s heart out into self-absorbed, diary-like posts. In their minds bloggers are hormonally antagonized teenagers weeping over their keyboards, listening to The Smiths. You and I know that the blogging spectrum has inflated vastly over the past ten years and that the platform is now a huge and vibrant repository of knowledge, the larger ones carrying as much weight as mainstream news sources.
