Bucket List an Internet Hit

Blogging, Featured, Twitter

The internet is always a mixed bag.  There are things that make you laugh, cry and sometimes feel a bit queasy but a blog from a 15- year-old in Ulverston has really made me think about my life and what I want to get from it.

Alice Pyne created an Internet blog in which she described her fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the white blood cells.  Taking inspiration from the 2007 film, the Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, Alice has made her own Bucket list which is a list of things she wants to achieve before she dies.

One of those tools is Tynt, which I’ve been using on and off now for about a year and when I first used it, I thought it was pretty cool. However, I recently logged into my account and was very impressed with the new tools and features so I just had to talk about it! So what’s up with Tynt?

Have you ever wondered who’s copying your content? I don’t mean those content scrapers but human users like you and me. Well, Tynt is a very handy tool for finding out, and it’s got a number of handy features to go along with it, too. (more…)

Blogging

Guest blogging is one of many ways to build links and if used properly, can gain long term traffic and secure spots on alternative blogs. I have recently taken on some research to identify the best ways to go about guest blogging, and it is extremely apparent that building relationships with fellow bloggers is by far the best way to begin! It’s a bit like preparing for a job interview- you would never arrive unprepared, as you need to show how well you have researched the company you would like to work for, right? With that in mind, here’s a few tips to help you become a better guest blogger. (more…)
